Chatloop, one of only 9 global platforms with Apple's default browser status, enables users to share experiences across the internet and influence purchase decisions. The platform expanded to include Chatloop for Business, a Saas platform allowing companies to embed user-generated content throughout their digital properties.
As UX/UI Lead, I needed to establish scalable systems and processes to support Chatloop's rapid growth phase, specifically:
- Create a unified design system for consistent user experiences
- Streamline fragmented product workflows
- Develop embeddable products that deliver measurable value to business partners
Led strategic UX initiatives focused on scalability and business impact:
- Designed and implemented a comprehensive design system that served as a single source of truth, reducing technical debt and ensuring cross-platform consistency
- Established agile product development workflows with clear success metrics, emphasising cross-functional collaboration and rapid iteration
- Created robust validation processes incorporating user testing and partner feedback loops
- Architected an analytics dashboard enabling partners to measure engagement and optimise their digital strategies
The strategically aligned UX/UI improvements delivered measurable business impact:
- Successfully launched Chatloop for Business proof of concept within 12 months
- Enabled rapid scaling through standardised design components and workflows
- Secured key partnerships, including Co-op Live, who leveraged our embeds to drive premium space upsell through their 'FanCam' feature
